Navigating Tough Conversations: Diversity Summit Workshop

Please join the Junior League of Baton Rouge’s Diversity and Cultural Inclusion Committee along with our community partner Forum 35 for “Navigating Tough Conversations: An Interactive Workshop Encouraging Dialogue for Social Justice.” This workshop will promote productive dialogue and encourage progress to address social issues that impact us all. Embracing our differences with open minds can bring unity where there is division and can spark forward movement where there is stagnancy.

We are excited to announce Christine Assaf as facilitator for this event. Christine is an experienced trainer with a passion for encouraging in having difficult conversations in a productive manner. She is a management and HR professional with over 12 years of experience in human resources and 18 years in management. Christine is Vice President for PSN BR, a non-profit advocacy group that focuses on amplifying a progressive voice in Baton Rouge. She holds a BS in Business Management, received her HR certification at LSU, and is currently pursuing a masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Christine is employed as an HR Generalist at a Fortune 100 company. She is a certified Development Dimensions International (DDI) Trainer, an experienced public speaker, and is dedicated to teaching others how conversations are part of social justice.

This event is free and open to the public but space is limited.

Please join us at 5:30 p.m. for dinner, the workshop will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.
